
Summit Speaker Application & Memorandum of Understanding
You are invited to attend one of the upcoming Outdoor Adventure Summit series, as a guest speaker. Please read this document carefully! It contains your responsibilities as a guest speaker, and our responsibilities as the host and organizer.
By confirming your attendance as the guest speaker, you agree to comply with all of your responsibilities outlined on this page. If you do not agree with any of the terms on this page, please let us know as soon as possible. Under that circumstance, we might need to invite another speaker.
What is the Outdoor Adventure Summit?
The Outdoor Adventure Summit (aka the Summit or OAS) is a multi-day event that is for outdoor enthusiasts and outdoor professionals to enhance their business & life and takes place over 5 days. We accept speakers on a wide range of topics that help outdoor professionals and self reliance type organizations and increase their impact, influence & profits by putting them in touch with . There will be several speakers on each day (usually 3-5 per day), who will share their knowledge on their area of expertise with the attendees. Each presentation is about 45 minutes including the talk, Q&A, and the gift.
As a guest speaker, you play an especially important role in shaping this amazing event! You will have responsibilities pre-event, during the event, and post-event.
The most important thing to remember about the OAS is that all of our speakers put their joint marketing efforts and knowledge into making this event beneficial to everyone in attendance.
How does attendance/tickets work?

How does attendance/tickets work?
Anyone can watch the event live, at no cost. The attendees will have the option to upgrade with the purchase of a VIP ticket. The VIP ticket is $97 for full access to the recordings of the talks, and receive gifts from our speakers that would be available only to VIP ticket holders, valued at over a thousand dollars.
How does the revenue share work?
Sales from VIP upgrades: All speakers will promote the event and from the people who sign up for the event, a certain number will upgrade to a VIP ticket for $97.
There is also a recordings only option for $77.
You will receive 50% of each upgrade as a result of your referral. This is traceable by our affiliate tracking software, which you can use to monitor your activities and earnings in real time.
Note: Speakers and affiliates will not receive an affiliate fee on the backroom sales of other speakers. This is not a paid speaking engagement and guest speakers will be paid ONLY an affiliate fee for VIP upgrades. All affiliate fees will be paid on the last day of the month, after the money back guarantee period.

How do we market this event?
We, collectively with our speakers, will market this event through our main mailing list and our social media channels. We will provide you with 3 invitation email samples, to be sent out to your mailing list one week prior to the event. You will be able to modify and customize the sample email to send to your email list. It is an important requirement that all speakers promote the event! We will provide you with a traceable link to help you measure the results.
We will also heavily promote the event to our mailing list, the mailing list of our promotional partners, and fans of The Outdoor Adventure Summit.

What are our responsibilities as the organizer?
1. Creating the event and all of its marketing materials including landing pages, sales pages, swipe copies, etc.
2. Provide the webinar software, and organizing the webinar for you to present.
3. Recruiting speakers and affiliates.
4. Overseeing the marketing of the event through speakers and other affiliates.
5. Creating a great positive experience for the audience members by choosing great speakers, great technology, and a great presentation!
6. Making VIP ticket sales, organizing, managing the technology and experience for the attendees.
7. Paying the affiliate fee (50%) on VIP ticket sales through you no later than the last day of the month after the money back guarantee period.

What are your responsibilities as the guest speaker?
1. Send a minimum of 3 marketing emails to your main mailing list to promote the event. We will provide you with the text and your affiliate link. You can also use social media to promote; however, we measure your marketing contribution based mainly on emails sent to the mailing list. NOTE: If you fail to promote as agreed, you will be excluded for the gift giveaway that occurs 3-4 weeks after the summit.
2. Provide us with an online gift/training (PDF, Video, Audio, etc.) to give to VIP members as a bonus. This can be anything worth from $47 to $2000. Make sure this is something that is not going to take you, or any of your team members, time to deliver. This is optional but recommended.
3. Make sure that on the day of your session, you have access to a very reliable internet connection, and a good computer with proper sound system (mic and speaker) that has been tested during the rehearsals.
4. Be present for your talk 10-15 minutes early, deliver your presentation on time, and within the time frame. There are no breaks between some presentations, make sure when you log in, you are quiet while the other presenter is finishing. Make sure that the name showed on Zoom is your name.
5. Deliver on your promise. You don’t want dissatisfied clients.

What can you offer at the end of your talk, as the guest speaker?
We highly encourage you to use this opportunity to increase your client base.
Unless otherwise advised, at the end of your talk, you are allowed to offer a FREE gift (PDFs, Tips & Tricks, eBooks, audio/video recordings, etc.) to help increase your client base.
You may also choose not to offer anything, though we don’t recommend it unless you have been invited as a retired expert or an expert no longer active in their industry.
You are NOT allowed to make a paid offer of any kind without prior agreement. If you make an offer that asks for payment you will be excluded from the gift giveaway.
